WHAT DID LAST YEAR’S ONES TO WATCH PARTICIPANTS THINK?
Ones To Watch has opened up doors that would've been hard to pry open otherwise. I am perpetually grateful that Ones To watch has the tenacity to look to the future of the film industry and emerging practitioners are able to get that next leg up that can be so ruthlessly hard in this game. Given a chance to get ahead, the capacity to shine is so much greater. I am also impressed and encouraged that the program seeks from the far reaches of Australia, ensuring all a fair go.
I would have been completely lost and overwhelmed attending the Conference for the first time if I wasn't part of the program. Plus it gives you something to make you stand out - introducing yourself to people as a Ones To Watch really seemed to have an impact.
